COVID-19 Protocol
Due to AMTA guidance, all regional tournaments will be hosted online for the 2022 season.

Schedule:
February 19 – 20, 2022 (Saturday – Sunday)
Round 1: Saturday Feb. 5, 11:30 a.m.- 3:00 p.m. (Eastern Time)
Round 2: Saturday Feb. 5, 5:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. (Eastern Time)
Round 3: Sunday Feb. 6, 11:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (Eastern Time)
Round 4: Sunday Feb. 6, 5:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. (Eastern Time)

Individual Registration:
In 2022, AMTA will be using a new AMTA Tournament Manager App to allow competitors to register and manage their profile with AMTA.  If you have been assigned to a 2022 AMTA Regional Tournament, your official contact will receive further information regarding accessing this system from AMTA. Pursuant to AMTA Rule 3.5, all students who compete in AMTA-sanctioned tournaments must complete the AMTA Current Competitor Registration Form. Please direct any questions regarding this policy to AMTA.

Team Confirmation:
If you have been assigned to a 2022 AMTA Regional Tournament, each team must complete the AMTA Regional Team Confirmation Form to CONFIRM your team(s) ​at AMTA Regional Tournaments.   Each team must confirm as soon as possible after receiving notice of their regional assignments, but no later than 30 days after regional assignments are released.  Schools with multiple teams must fill out and submit a separate form for each team.  Please contact AMTA with any questions regarding the Regional Confirmation Form process.  Collected information is stored on a secured (HTTPS) server.

Team Roster(s):
*NEW* In 2022, AMTA will be using a new ​AMTA Tournament Manager App to allow for teams to manage and submit their rosters to AMTA.  If you have been assigned to a 2022 AMTA Regional Tournament, you will receive further information regarding accessing this system from AMTA.  Pursuant to Rule 3.10(a), each team must submit its roster 21 days before the start of the sanctioned tournament in which it is participating.   Please contact AMTA with any questions regarding the team roster submission process. Collected information is stored on a secured (HTTPS) server.

Drop Policy:

Regional Team Withdrawal Information: 

  1. Procedure to Withdraw:  All withdrawals should be immediately communicated to Melissa Watt, chairperson of the Tournament Administration Committee, and AMTA at amta@collegemocktrial.org. A withdrawal is not considered “official” until it is communicated by the school to the above-mentioned individuals.
  2. Withdrawal Penalty Structure:  The following penalties shall be assessed to each school that either withdraws and/or fails to appear at a regional tournament:
    • $75 for teams that drop within 28 days of the start of the tournament (Jan. 22, 2022), but more than 14 days before the start of the tournament (Feb 5, 2022);
    • $125 for teams that drop within 14 days of the start of the tournament (Feb 5, 2022) but more than 7 days before the start of the tournament (Feb 12, 2022);
    • $175 for teams that drop within 7 days of the start of the tournament (Feb 12, 2022) but more than 48 hours before the start of the tournament (Feb 17, 2022);
    • $225 for teams that drop within 48 hours of the start of the tournament (Feb 17, 2022) but more than 24 hours before the start of the tournament (Feb 18, 2022);
    • $350 for teams that drop within 24 hours of the start of the tournament (Feb 18, 2022), but before the start of the tournament (Feb 19, 2022);
    • $500 for teams that drop after the start of the tournament, that fail to show for the tournament, or that leave the tournament early without permission of the AMTA Representative(s).
