Dates
Our Regional tournament will operate in a 2-2 fashion, with two trials on Saturday, Feb. 15th, and two trials on Sunday, Feb. 16th.
Location
All of our rounds will be held in Kerwin Hall, our political science building. Our campus is fairly small, and there are multiple ways to access this building. When the tournament gets closer, we will reach out with more specific parking information. Luckily, parking is free on weekends, so no need to factor parking costs into your budgets!
If you would like to access the campus by train, the closest Amtrak stop is Union Station. Once you are in DC, you can take the red line metro to the AU/Tenleytown stop, where you will then have to wait for an AU bus to take you to campus. While taking the train is possible, I would recommend driving to eliminate your dependence on multiple modes of public transportation.

Dining Options
During the tournament, dining options will be fairly limited. While AU does have some dining options on campus in the Mary Graydon Center, the lines get pretty long around lunchtime. For that reason, I would not recommend relying on those options for lunch. To ensure that everyone has access to food, we will be catering lunch. The lunch option will cost between $10-15 per person. The default lunch will be a sandwich, so please let us know if your competitors are gluten-free so that we can get them an alternative option. We will send out a google form closer to the date of the tournament if you are interested in our catering option. Please note that if you pursue this option, you will need to provide a payment in advance of the tournament.
Once we get closer to the tournament, we will send out a list of on campus lunch options (though again, I would not recommend relying on independent options).
Current Competitor Registration
As required by AMTA, all students who compete in AMTA-sanctioned tournaments must complete a series of forms to register both competitors and teams. Withdrawal Procedure
All withdrawals should be immediately communicated to AMTA.Tournaments@collegemocktrial.org AND AMTA@collegemocktrial.org. A withdrawal is not considered “official” until it is communicated by the school to the above-mentioned individuals.
